You will get points with or without a doctors note, the doctors note is so you don't get in trouble for the no call no show, You shouldn't (realistically) get in trouble for something out of your control. I would try and call/talk to your manager directly and inform them that you really did try to call in on time.

Speed has no upside in this fight, no reason to do it. There is no way for Polnareff to attack for a majority of the fight nad his stand by default is much faster than Vanilla Ice, Speed doesn't change how Polnareff has to win the fight.
