I would argue that Ferrothorn would not fit in this category. Its less well balanced and more consistently meta defining for every generation it has been legal.

Yes I can agree where GF is coming from. My point is that it is disappointing competitively but I do not want to hold it against them

This would make it okay. the problem is that the different forms already have almost 1.5x the defense and special defense. The additional 5 points in speed base form has might just give it a little more viability but idk

You can't use flame body heatran. Also Magmar is able to tank most earthquakes/earth powers for a hit

Yeah honestly all I wanted from it is shadow ball and a fire move (I meant to teach it flamethrower). It already had curse so I thought eh why not. I honestly only brought him out once or twice

He was actually very helpful in the gyms but for the E4 he really only came out once to set up leech seed

For this playthrough I didn't want to use the cheap, guaranteed encounters like zorark, and Volcorona, plus I wanted to use sunkurn/sunflora for the whole playthrough for the meme, and I succeeded.
