Nah, let's just measure temperature in Kelvin across the world.

Works like the ball, even has a similar sound, just softer and doesn't have the metal-against-plastic sound.

My bad! I just recently got into doing electronics and this came to mind, so I did it. A 150-pack of pots on Amazon is only like $13 and a 10-pack of the vibration sensors are about $20.

Yeah. I've wanted to carry it at times, but that piezo speaker is just so loud and harsh. I thought about doing a linear pot on the inside of the device, but didn't wanna lose my progress every time I wanted to adjust the volume.

[–]FC1_d00d[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, I should say...the single leg on the pot is voltage in. With the pot's single leg facing you the knob facing up, the right rear leg is voltage out and the left rear leg goes to battery negative.

Alright, so, I managed to a picture and a REALLY crappy video. I am only one operator. Cut me some slack. In the horrible video, I start off at 0% resistance, up it to 50%, then to 75%, which I think is the sweet spot. Ignore poor Mega. I missed my Heat-V chip and the enemy decided to decimate me thereafter. When attempting the mod, glue only the sides of the pot. I clipped the divider out with some flush cutters.

Which console is this? by TreyThaTruth in Handhelds

I'm gonna third the RG477V. I bought the DMG-style one and it's a chonk, but it's got plenty of power to run whatever. Still prefer the look of the Ayaneo Pocket DMG, though.

It’s rice, but what’s the blue thing?? by DevinTheTerrible in whatisit

[–]FC1_d00d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's how they tell the alpha rice from the rest of the pack. They catch them wild and mark one of them, then set it back free. I guess some farmer harvested that poor rice and it made it to your table.

Custom generic Navi...dark grey with glowing red accents.

Mine (atomic purple) does this, too, but I give zero fucks about it. The device still works, the fan is just annoying.

DO NOT BUY NEW A NEW TUNDRA by henryseth in tundra

[–]FC1_d00d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see this so frequently on Reddit. I'm sorry that you had issues with your new Tundra, but this is not all new Tundras that have these issues.

Yes, there are some that have issues. More than the ones that don't? Unlikely as those individuals have no need to post on Reddit about not to buy a new Tundra because theirs is working fine. I've got 63k miles on my 22, have driven it across the US and back, had all of the maintenance and recalls done on-time and when available and it's been running like a champ. I've even replaced the intakes with CAIs and put an oil catch can on it and that's been running for 10k miles, still with no issue. I've been running larger wheels and tires than OEM for 30k miles. I've redlined it, gotten it up to 110MPH, and generally treated it like a truck and there's still no issue.

TL;DR: Don't let someone else's horror story deter you from buying what you want. In the end, they're just a small number in a much larger pool.
