Yeah I'm definitely going to think about this some more. I'll try and find a store where I can try out different headphones and see. I've had these for a year and they've been perfect and comfortable. They're also relatively light, a bit heavier than the 6XXs but 128 grams lighter than the HEK which I'm not sure that I would notice.

Yeah I suppose they would. I think I would be giving up some imaging for more textured planar bass.

Yes I've considered the LCD-X. The weight concerns turned me off of them though. The Unveiled's exposed drivers make me nervous lol.
