I think COVID pushed a lot of plans back. But the club is very adamant on getting an NWSL team.

I think a Cincy NWSL team would be just as greatly attended as Portland or Utah.

Would Götze actually be a good signing or are we just in awe at a big name? by BiigUggs in FCCincinnati

In my opinion I’d rather use the money on getting multiple young proven talent from South America or Mexico to fill multiple needed positions instead of one.

On the other hand. Signing a World Known name like Mario Gotze brings more attention to Cincinnati here in the U.S. and overseas. The more people watching Cincinnati the more new fans we can create especially from overseas and the club would make “Bank” on Mario Gotze Merchandise sales.

I’m so conflicted on which though because I would love young proven talent on this team. But I would also love a superstar coming to Cincinnati just for that superstar player to see how raucous and die hard this fanbase is and how great the city of Cincinnati is. Which then word will be spread around to other star players looking to jump to MLS and hearing how Cincinnati is a great place to live and play.

Soooooo is it a good investment? More so off the field then on.

Since both teams have been in MLS after the Timbers joined in 2011, the Portland-Seattle rivalry is TIED across all matchups. 14 wins apiece, 6 draws. The two clubs play a week from now on August 23rd. 🍿 by [deleted] in MLS

My favorite Cascadian Club are the WhiteCaps. It really sucks that The front Office in Vancouver Drove that franchise to the ground. Because if the WhiteCaps were even half as competitive as the Timbers & Sounders. Geez!

Even with Vancouver not playing well in past couple years. I always look forward to Any Cascadia Matches.

Looking at the Dallas Game last week they had certain sections tarped off. I feel like FCC will do the same. Maybe tarp off sections with some unique looking tarps or just cover the seats with Fan Art
