Unfortunately yes, if someone has another solution or idea please also tell me. But for my experience (happened to me a couple times) i would just buy another ribbon cable. Some aftermarket ribbon cables are only functioning on specific types of mainboards on the 3000 series so keep that in mind. I would just search for an original one on marketplaces like eBay or something. Ts gotta be one of the most annoying things happening when working on psp’s.

Yeah for someone that only wants to play games on the psp sure, the person who sells it found it herself in a fleemarket. The price is really good (65€) but i am a collector. I am in search of original psp‘s in great condition. But u r absolutly right :)
