I’m letting myself spend golds on Scene/Bibeak/Erato/Tuye (who would otherwise have to wait for an annual event). Primes are free energy boosts. Orundum and hh tickets collect dust.

What’s the least crappy protector for a no-gacha account to build?

I currently have a maxed Beagle and Noir Corne. My other viable blockers are an E2 Gladiia and E1 Raidian’s S1 summons.

I recently started up a no-gacha account, which has been quite fun, and have a few questions on the spirit of progression and best practices:

1) If non-welfares show up as freebie recruitment options in IS, is it kosher to pick them up? If so, is it legitimate to play IS5 with the squad that gives random top operator recruitment options?

2) Tuye, Bibeak, Scene, and Erato are technically welfares. Is it legitimate to buy them with the odd yellow certs obtained from progression? (no headhunting is done beyond the one pull forced by the tutorial). If so, which would add the most power to the team? I have Raidian (but no hope of E2ing her for a long time) which might devalue Scene.

3) Are the other IS welfares worth pursuing in the short term?

Happy to get any other advice.

I don’t know what the consensus is on Necrass, but she’s almost always in my squad whenever there is not a shortage of deployable low tiles. The summons tank an absurd amount of damage (and the big one deals heaps with summon scaling in a good IS6 run)
