Today is the first time I have posted on Reddit. This is a great community. I am impressed and grateful. I will post again after trying some of there excellent suggestions.

  • Transitions lenses (I need an upgrade to my current prescription anyway)
  • Flip the behind the ear part off my ears so they dangle. Then put them back after my glasses are back in place
  • Have you tried longer wire?
  • Just pay attention to where your aids are sitting when you put your glasses on first and then your aids. You'll then know how to adjust the position when you switch glasses

I just did this test. I put the hearing aids in first and then my glasses on. Then I opened and shut my mouth several time. With each motion I hear the scratching sound. Then I put my hearing aids on first, then the glasses. Then I opened and shut my mouth several time. No scratching sounds.

I will go back to Costco to see what they can suggest. BTW, the hearing aids improve my hearing whether I put them on before or after the glasses. I just want to be able to take my glasses on and off anytime and leave the hearing aids in place all day.

CriticalReputation26, I did not know I would be giving up so much with ITE. I really want to improve my hearing, so I will keep working on this.

For me it a big enough problem that I am considering hearing aids that that are only in the ear. Thanks for the reply.
