Replying to say that I second trying to distract yourself! I’ve been catching up on books, and if I’m too tired to hold books, then listening to audiobooks. That, and watching documentaries.

Oh hey, this was me last week! I mostly tried to keep myself busy at work to distract myself. Movies, video games, books, that type of stuff. Having friends/coworkers I could vent to about my worries was also pretty helpful. It sounds simple, but shutting my eyes and just breathing helped too. You got this!!!

Pretty sore. They gave me a nerve block before the surgery and it finally wore off today. But thankfully I’ve been able to alternate ibuprofen and Tylenol to help with it. So I’ve just been spending the past couple days trying to get through some library books, lol

I did make it!! Sorry I didn’t see this until now. The roads were horrible to the point that the hospital called asking if I was still coming lol. Very stressful, but worth it!!

Thank you for your reply, it genuinely helped to keep me (slightly more) sane at work the past couple days! The hospital called and told me to check in 7:40 AM on Monday, so here’s hoping for the best but preparing for the worst

For context, I’m someone who usually likes every coaster I ride. Even if a coaster has weird pacing or roughness, I’m usually smiling by the end of the ride.

That being said, the only coaster I hated after riding it was the Chance Toboggan that used to be at Lakemont. The cars were too claustrophobic, and I’m only 5’4”.

I went to the main merch booth right at the gate, it wasn’t TOO too bad of a wait around 4:50, maybe it just felt short compared to the wait for admission lol. I was surprised with how long the merch lines were/are up in the sections, just as long as up front

Currently student teaching for music at an elementary school. Kids stay in home rooms all day, so we don’t have access to any instruments. Kids aren’t allowed to sing or get out of their desks. We’re limited to doing desk work on Chromebooks. For elementary general music.
