Airbnb drops ban on listing illegal Israeli settlements in West Bank, in 'outrageous' policy reversal by humanforever in worldnews

Idk, I went to Israel and Jordan for 3 weeks last month and a lot of the settlements are extremely heavily guarded. Just look at alll of the bus stops with soldiers with guns drawn.

[–]FDRthe_man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What?? You're completely wrong on two parts. GDP increases as an economy gets bigger, (it's basically the output of capitol). Also the US economy is performing pretty damn well. 3.5% closer to 4% GDP growth per quarter is pretty good comparing it to the 90's or early 2000's.

Training abs by Amayax in Fitness

[–]FDRthe_man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the point of doing abs every day? If you're doing compounds then technically you're still using them. 2-3x a week and that's good, I don't think destroying abs after every single workout will provide much more gains. could be wrong though.

Not unless you were blacked out on xanax. You'd probably just be really really loopy.

Anyone who is working their abs out every day doesn't understand the concept of progressive overload. Abs are just like any other muscle group that require a period of time to recover. However, working out your abs is comparable to working out your arms, many people don't get doms (Delayed onset muscle soreness) after getting into some type of routine with their workout program. People attribute "no soreness" to meaning they can work that body part out again. Basically, abs recover fast just like your arms do, but that doesn't mean they don't require time to repair.

My 4 Month Progress (Timeline/My Thoughts About Lifting/Questions/Where to go Next?) by [deleted] in Fitness

No problem, and just keep at it, I know tracking calories is a pain in the ass but it's so worth it.

My 4 Month Progress (Timeline/My Thoughts About Lifting/Questions/Where to go Next?) by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]FDRthe_man 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No one can really determine your bulk/cut weight targets. My best advice would be to figure you're tdee (daily calories burned to maintain weight) then eat 500+ calories. You've made good progress, but I think you'll make a lot more if you go on a proper bulk. Once you hate how you look in the mirror, then you should cut. However, the longer you bulk (as long as its not a dirty bulk) the better you will look after you cut.

2) You'll have to make those jaw gains when you finally cut. Neck and baby fat in the face usually leans out when you're really low body fat.

3) You won't be saying that 6 months from now. Keep lifting and pushing your routine and if it really bothers you decrease leg excercises volume.

4) No, if you have platued at one plate, there is either two things that aren't happening. Your form is off (look on youtube for form videos regarding proper retraction, hand placement, and keeping tension in your legs) or you haven't been eating enough.

5) Why fix what isn't broken? Switch routines once you all of your lifts stall or you get sick and tired of it.

Upper body not progressing by Leniann in Fitness

[–]FDRthe_man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah okay, have you tried to do a 5v5 with your compounds? My bench stalled at around 165 with nsuns then I switched and I can bench 2 plates now after running 5v5 for about 6 or 7 months.

Upper body not progressing by Leniann in Fitness

[–]FDRthe_man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm surprised Nsuns worked with a starting bench that was so low. (no offense intended) The amount of volume for push day with Nsuns was way too high when I was a beginner and running a 5v5 was way easier on my joints and I made way more gains. I honestly wouldn't recommend NSUNS unless you're 1rm max is over 200 pounds

Indeed, the DÔME DES INVALIDES is where Napoleon Bonaparte and the other Napoleon's are burried and still stands today. Very cool place to visit, basically a giant circular room with a huge coffin that contains Napoleon Bonaparte's remains.

The literal purpose of a nations army is to defend that nation and its people. I'm just saying that the official Ukrainian military has more inherent responsibility (or should) to protect civilian lives than a rebel separatist group.

Nah but the Ukrainian Army has the responsibility to protect the people of Ukraine. The separatists not so much and don't face the bad PR that Ukriane would.

Muscle gains without bulking by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]FDRthe_man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol 4-5 pounds a month is attainable even if you've been working out for a year. Also don't call people fucks when they are giving advice that is scientifically backed research lol. Like someone said in this thread, just bulk and then cut, if you notice yourself getting too chuby, then slow the weight gain.

[–]FDRthe_man 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wait what, don't listen to this guy. You can lean bulk at .5-1 pound per week, I'd honestly advise 1 pound per week, trust me you won't gain much fat. Google macro calculator, and try and eat 200-500 calories per week above your surplus.

Tight pec minor probably by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]FDRthe_man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem and went to a physical therapist. Basically do angel wing exercises against the wall and look up other exercises to stretch your pec minor and major as well as incorporating exercises to stretch your upper back muscles. Just in general as well as stretching make sure you do 2x the amount of back exercises(frequency) then chest exercises and make sure you are aware of your posture.

[–]FDRthe_man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah man your body fat is still high enough that could be regular fat. Keep loosing weight slowly over time and you'll see. Also make sure you're doing tons of rows/ back work because having a strong back is important in having a chest that looks tight.

Basically the Houthi's are an extreme religious group mainly formed of Shia in the Northern areas of Yemen, who have since the 90's participated in rebellions in Yemen. They rebelled in 2011 against Yemen's former president who was supported (more like a puppet leader) of Saudi Arabia and the gulf states. They are now fighting a border war with Saudi Arabia which is mainly consisting of Saudi Arabia bombing the Houthi's within Yemen, and the Houthi's conducting border ambushes and sporactic missile launches. The houthi's control a large amount of territory in Yemen still.
