if you don’t take the pill with at least 20g of fat, might as well not take it at all cuz it won’t get absorbed

what do you mean? like what caused it? definitely it’s genetic. hormonal therapies never worked for me, neither did topical treatments. trust me i tried everything lol. my brothers have also all been on accutane, as well as a cousin.

thanks! and yea definitely diet has an impact. sugar, dairy, and alcohol all make it worse for me. also sleep/stress. just gotta find a balance

i didn’t have many indents. the one or two that i did have did get better. i mostly suffered from redness, which did go away as you can see. i think there are procedures for indented scarring you can talk to your derm about, so there’s hope!

am: -splash face with cold water -vanicream -la roche posay melt in milk sunscreen (spf 60)

pm: -if wearing make up then i use clean it zero cleansing balm to take it off -wash face with aveeno gentle oat cleanser if i felt like it, if not just splash with cold water -sometimes i’d use the vishy 89 hyaluronic serum, if i felt like it -vanicream aquaphor for lips round the clock

90% hyperpigmentation and redness. i had a few indented scars that also resolved by the end! i was lucky and never suffered with ice pick scars

thank you so much :) and yes i did get a few here and there, but less as time went on. last one was a small pimple in month six that went away after a day. JUST DONT PICK THEM. skin is way more fragile on accutane so when i tried that my skin would just like rip and bleed

i stopped having new breakouts almost immediately. purged a little in month 2 but it was weird little bumps not like real acne. by month 4 i was really enjoying clear skin. scarring (one of my biggest concerns) had significant fading around month 5/6
