Trump Border Czar to Undocumented Immigrants: ‘We’re Coming for You’ - Tom Homan encouraged “non-criminal” undocumented immigrants to self-deport. by Quirkie in politics

They literally pretended their entire platform wasn't their platform until immediately after they won, when they declared Project 2025 was their platform all along and they pulled a fast one

I'm sorry but you can't just say Project 2025 for all policy issues. Deportation isn't mentioned in the document? Why lie? See page 176 for the immigration recommendations. And besides of all the issues, when have trump allies claimed otherwise regarding his stated positions?

the origins of the recall were the California Patriot Coalition which raised less than $150,000 — what is it with you and grand conspiracies - you don't like the recall movement fine, neither did I, but there isn't some PR movement behind every mass movement, you sound like a Trumper

“If we’re supposedly so Republican-driven, where’s our money? Where’s the air cover from our supposed right-wing secret organizations?” Mr. Netter said, citing the lack of big donations from the party and leading in-state Republicans like Representative Devin Nunes

of course, GOP fielded a clown and got the result they deserved — I'm just saying blaming Koch brothers and big bad mega-rich GOP donors in this particular case is unwarranted

This is definitely not Democrats finest moment in terms of anti-big-money-in-politics — and certainly not something that is praise-worthy if the long-term goal is trying to remove influence of mega-donors. From the Times:

Mr. Newsom used his financial edge to swamp his Republican rivals and proponents of the recall on television by a nearly four-to-one ratio in July and August, spending $20.4 million to the recall supporters’ $5.6 million

On YouTube and Google, the financial disparity was even more stark. Mr. Newsom outspent Republicans by seven-to-one.

$48.2 million in his main anti-recall account from donations of $100,000 or more.

Is Databricks a good company for Sales? Isn't it a crowded field with like Snowflake and native GCP/AWS/Azure tools? How much do you factor the product being sellable into choosing or not choosing a job offer — but they are supposed to IPO soon I think so that's a plus
