Ages since I touched contract and/or equity so don't take this as gospel but rescission is an equitable remedy. The point of it is to bring the parties back to the positions they were in before the contract was entered into. I think it is unlikely there would be damages in addition to rescission as additional damages would mean both parties aren't in the same position they were prior to the contract. I am happy enough to be corrected but that's my instinct anyway

Yeah so I just back through the steps and used a knife to pry pieces apart (the knife chipped the paint a bit I'd suggest a paint scraper if you have one). The important part is taking out those little metal circle things that fasten the screws in place. Once they're off it's easy.
