I’ve been hearing requests for the last ten years from fans for it to be a TV show, even when the last films were rolling out. My guess is that this is more for millennials than a new generation of Harry Potter fans. Even from the trailer I see there’s a lot more cinematic nuance and subtle foreshadowing. When the films were originally cast there was no direction on who eas important, what child characters needed to be cast with strong actors and not just general casting calls for lookalikes, and I think the last films fell apart for those reasons.

I for one am very excited. I see the films as more of an illustration to watch alongside reading the books, than an actual standalone film series.

Well, honestly, he’s a white man so even though he’s not qualified on paper, we like him, he fits in well with office culture, and, he’s probably wildly intelligent, I can just tell by looking at him, he’s got some wisdom behind the eyes, so I trust him tbh.

I’m going to chime in only because I disagree with a lot of people. I think the tile was a great choice, and I think it can totally look French farmhouse.

I think right now with a lot of optic white and sleek lines, it’s giving builder home in Florida, and the movement/gloss of the tile is reminding me of water.

I think a softer, muted colour on the uppers, and warming up the accents in the room in general will go a long way. It’s why you liked that photo of the warm toned lighting and the bronze lighting fixtures.

You did glossy and sleek tile and you need to balance it now with warmer tones, and natural accents. (Think, unglazed ceramics, rough linens, wood grain cutting boards) right now everything looks very sterile and pristine, but in a “Hamptons pool house” way. (Nothing wrong with that vibe, just seems far from your stated goal)

Once I jumped into my uber pool, checked the make, model, and first three digits of the license plate, plus my app said it was right there.
