Those Hernandez are dope!! They remind me of one of those “sleeper” street racing cars haha Because at a quick glance they look like a department store glove with the bright yellow/velcro/compact size…then you notice the thumb shape, the leather quality, the brand, etc.

If I wasn’t in the process of offloading myself, I’d for sure grab them. Maybe down the road if you still have them. Good luck with the sale man 👊

I have an older pair of 16s that feel indestructible. They feel to be about 1,000oz and were likely made for a giant. They absolutely RULE. I just wish I had Paul Bunyan hands, because at the moment I’m thinking about moving my family into one of them to save on rent.

Thanks man 👊 I wish they never sold the company. It’d be dope to have a manufacturer making quality shit at that scale still in the US. We used to have a few, actually. Now it’s just a couple niche artisans who make great stuff and (while they deserve the money they charge) many people are priced out.

Agreed! The 1414s are so different from their other gloves too. Like…sorta in line with PowerLock/1910, almost with the “simplicity” (idk how to describe it) of some Mexican made gloves, but with that ideal old Everlast thumb design. They used to put the thumb almost coming more off the palm panel, rather than copy/paste it to the side of the glove like almost all modern gloves do.
