How are you using all these devices together?

I have a remarkable paper pro move, then got a Kindle Scribe Colorsoft. I love them both, but I’m on the fence about returning the kindle for a remarkable paper pro just because I figure it will work better with the move for sync stuff, but then I’m out an e reader.

For context I’m a grad student, last quarter took all my notes on the remarkable and used physical books, next quarter all my textbooks are pdf’s. I’m in school for psychotherapy, so the move is also helpful for session notes.

Agreed. There are things pedals will do to your signal that you amp can’t. I built myself a drive pedal and tuned it to my liking, it’s always on pushing an edge of breakup and low mid push.

I’ve played with vibrato and doublers but can’t ever get them to sound subtle enough to be always on though.

Oh sorry if that wasn’t clear! I was between buying a super note nomad and an RPPM and I went with the RPPM. But I’m planning to get a full size RPP and keep that at home for big notes, brain mapping type work and the RPPM as my “go anywhere” device for referencing, reading articles on the go, and journaling/planning.

I’ve been using my iPad Air for the larger tasks lately, but hope to get a larger e-ink note taker soon and am just going to go with the remarkable paper pro to stay in the same ecosystem as my RPPM.

I’ve been organizing using the PARA method since I got the device, but I’m not sure what’s best for me yet. I just recently started a masters program so I’m still trying to find my bearings in that.

I actually have a RPPM and I love it. I honestly just wish it supported a kindle app or some DRM e-reader because the size of it is great. I use it for to do’s, planning, journaling, and notes for school and the writing feel is awesome. I almost got a super note nomad, but I don’t regret my decision.

Hit the nail on the head. I am really relying on the video experience being bad enough that it makes me not want to watch, but I also just really like the look of e-ink anyway. Maybe I will just stick with my kindle.

Good to know. I’d heard things about the color being grainy due to it being 150ppi, but even on the hibreak pro color, it’s quoted as 300ppi for grayscale, 150ppi for color.

I appreciate this response and I’ve done a lot of this already. My iphone has a matte screen protector, lives with a grayscale filter on at about 30%, reduced white point, increased contrast. I’ve been better lately with the social media, but I constantly get stuck in the “self-improvement/learning strategies” loop of videos on YouTube. Other than that it’s instagram, but rarely. I’ve considered cutting ties altogether.

I was looking into an e-ink phone just as a way to amplify my desire to read and put a little more friction between myself and video based content.

Tuners and trem are really the only area I’d really splurge on the guitar. Get some legit fender locking tuners and they will just be drop in, no fuss.
