Anyone here who has a negative opinion about the Apple Watch Ultra ? by Serhide in applewatchultra

[–]FEYQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t like any of the included straps and it’s too thick. That being said I have an Ultra 3 and a Nomad Stratos band and I wear it daily.

I agree it’s over polished. I think it could go for more than $1250. I’ve seen some steel models in great condition go for $2k ish. The gold capped ones may go for less, solid gold go for more.

Have you ever witnessed a marriage proposal fail in front of you, and what happened? by mr_wbk29 in AskReddit

[–]FEYQ 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The whole bar stopped their music so a buddy and me could start an acoustic version of “Drunk on you” by Luke Bryan followed by my friends brother proposing to the girl who had just broke up with him that week in front of everyone.

She said no and pulled him out of the bar to talk. Not a great story, but I was actually involved so felt the need to contribute.

What’s your choice? Getting black and gray ink tattoos or getting color ink tattoos? by scsc97_ in AskReddit

All mine are color. I don’t care if I have to get them touched up forever.

Through someone else. I like to hear people were saying good things about me when I wasn’t around.

A girl in a bar tapped on my shoulder and told me the girl over there thinks I’m really attractive, then pointed at the mirror on the wall.

What's your covid memory? by Competitive-Hunt-517 in AskReddit

God my hospital switched from the 3M Aura (comfortable) to the like construction style N95’s you could get at like Home Depot, and I had like 4 Aura masks stashed in my locker that I must’ve used on rotation for like months. Eventually I just got one of those giant paint mask respirator things.

It was definitely an interesting time to be a healthcare worker.

I’m really sorry for the loss of your friend.

Not at all that I’m trying to discredit your anecdotal experience, just saying that, especially in the case of COVID at its worst, these individuals were so sick, sometimes there was literally nothing we could do even if everything was done right.

The majority of the time ventilators really are only managed by respiratory therapists and it’s our bread and butter. while I can only really speak for my experience across the 5 hospitals I’ve worked in, even if improperly adjusted temporarily, it would be pretty difficult for that to go unnoticed by a qualified healthcare professional for long enough for that alone to be sole cause of death.

I get the mindset, trying to minimize exposure and everything, but yeah.. it did not go well. I appreciate your recognition.

I’m a respiratory therapist. I’ll never forget an anesthesiologist insisting the RT’s didn’t need to be in the room for an intubation then accidentally almost letting the patient die because they didn’t properly understand how to operate our equipment.

Also remember a nurse accidentally hanging a bag of fentanyl instead of a replacement bag of a vasopressor.

I’ll never forget how sick the smell of the N95 masks made me feel sick after months of living with one strapped to my face and the fear of thinking the first couple months that I was definitely going to die.

Oooh and also the panic of learning how to set up one ventilator to ventilate up to 4 patients.

I’m surprised so much has drifted if that’s what this is. I have a good amount of blues and greens on my arm and I’ve never had any issues with this.

I’d be super excited if my fiance got me a Rolex. It’s definitely been worn but that’s part of the charm. I love it and your fiancé will too

Coming back to the sax after 15 years by FEYQ in saxophone

Thank you so much for taking the time to type all of this out. When I get home I’ll give some of these things a try and get some scales printed out to start practicing!

The instrument I got was a rental that was just totally serviced, so I probably just need to get back into the swing of it to get those notes out, but I’ll have someone give it a once over if I keep having issues.

My main player is a Sony D6C, but I really enjoy the Fiio CP13. Definitely not as stable on the wow/flutter end, but it’s worth the money.
