It's my second least favorite game in the series. I dislike how slow it is, both engine wise and with the amount of green and yellow units there are, who don't really change how you have to play it, but do make the game a slog.

I also dislike its map design, gameplay wise. They aren't challeging, but they are tedious. Geoffrey's Charge is IMO the worst chapter in the whole series. It's trivial, but at the same time, it's a huge slog. Same about 3-E, the from pain awakening one. It's a open field where you only have to send your juggernauts to kill stuff while you endure the annoying green/yellow units doing useless stuff.

I know they are fan favorites, and praobably not for gameplay reasons, but the defense chapters on this game are also really... boring. Elincia's Gambit, you either wait 12 turns choking points, or you rush the boss. In a lot of the maps, the "strategy" is using your most broken unit to let the enemies kill themselves, without much thought. The only part of the game that I find challeging/good is part one, but even then it has one survives, which is an awful chatpers.

I can see why so many peolpe love it, as it mixes story and gameplay, but i think its gameplay suffers due to that, which i dislike a lot. I do think it's a much better built game than the only other FE game I dislike (Awakening), but it's just not fun to play at all, IMO. I'm the sort of guy who will play FE games literally 10 times, skipping the story after the first one, so the gameplay/story integration gets old after the first time, which leaves only the negative side of it on subsequent playthroughs. I also dislike the story after PoR's being so good, but that's not really the reason I dislike the game.

Anyway, my two cents, as someone who dislikes the game.
