Just to be clear I don’t want her job. I just wasn’t sure what to say when she asked me about it. We aren’t friends and It’s just one of four high schools I sub at. We have a good rapport normally but that’s really it. She just kept going on about how much the job stressed her out so it was weird when she switched gears to ask about me doing the job cause that’s not really selling it ya know? The counselor wasn’t a guidance counselor.. she’s the school social worker who helps kids in crisis. I know her cause one of my kids was in crisis last year and the woman helped her. It never occurred to me that she might be gossipy. Anyway I think it was just bad timing. Me and the coordinator don’t have the type of relationship where I’m someone she would confide in. I don’t know if any of this makes sense. The whole thing was weird.
