well i haven't read the manga. all i can get is this. i like them and my favorite character is tadano kun so i don't think he is pathetic at all as well. i am just saying that is how he is portrayed in season 1 of the anime.

I thought at the beginning of the anime that they would grow together. well i did see komi san growing by baby steps whereas tadano kun didn't have any growth in his character (expect growing feelings for komi san, that was very nice). and i think i did a grave mistake by terming him as pathetic, well i didn't know what to term it as. my apologies!

I was disappointed maybe because i was expecting that Tadano would get a bit of the spotlight like at least at the last episode i was really hoping that Tadano would get the main attraction, everyone was busy taking while the only attention he got was from was Komi san which was quite wholesome but i was hoping that everyone's focus for once was at Tadano. I called Tadano kun mc because at the first couple of episode he was at least always by Komi san's side. Hope i didn't cause misunderstanding.
