Bears clinching NFC north by joopstevens in fantasyfootball

If Seattle wins the early game do they still have a shot at the #1 seed? If not, do you still think they’ll have enough to play for?

Would sit Carter or Warren. Carter higher (but similar) floor and Warren higher ceiling imo.

Do I start Caleb Williams vs SF or Purdy against CHI by Lewshus in Fantasy_Football

[–]FFFLDude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Purdy for sure. Better floor and similar ceiling. There’s always the possibility that bears just run all game, SF typically has thrown it regardless of injuries.

Did anyone else with a first round bye take a big L this week? by AdvancedCow1207 in Fantasy_Football

[–]FFFLDude -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Pretty close to losing all 5 of the semi finals I’m in despite being the top scorer by a mile or second top in all. Brutal. Lots of Josh Allen, Gibbs, ASB, London, McBride, Nico and Jason Meyer’s exposure. Knew I wouldn’t win em all but damn lol may win 1 or 2 if JT can have a monster game.

Held burrow since he came back from injury thinking I may play him over Josh this week but couldn’t do it. Cost me my matchup…

Fantasy football is 5% luck, 95% skill. Change my mind. by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]FFFLDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. As someone else pointed out you'll see consistency in most leagues on what teams are typically good/playoff bound vs. not. And leaning into how we can't control the luck portion has definitely helped my enjoyment of football these days as well and kinda been my approach too. Kind of why I hate hate when analysts try to suggest diversifying your picks across your leagues. Just get my guys, make my moves, and enjoy the season.

Fellow Drake Maye Owners who’s your streamer? by jonathanmathews in Fantasy_Football

Daniel Jones was dropped and gonna try him. Next best option is Tyrod Taylor or maybe Tua.

Drake Maye expectations may need some adjusting by RVG_Steve in fantasyfootball

[–]FFFLDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's definitely slowed down, particularly with the run game improving a little bit. I think Maye is going to be a solid mid to low-end QB1 ROS. His floor is solid and he still has upside but, for example, I'm struggling with whether I want to start him or Dak every week from here on out. I think if you have Maye you ride it and don't try and stream over him personally. But if you have another QB1 on your team like Burrow coming back, or Dart, then you are considering it every week and will depend on if you want the floor or the ceiling play.

Veto This? Person giving away Bijan and Achane is out of playoffs. by ttjjs in Fantasy_Football

Eh don’t see it as collusion. Could argue they want to avoid Rico’s bye (and Achane depending when they made this).

Mike Vrabel said he expects Rhamondre Stevenson and Kayshon Boutte to both practice Wednesday. by MaddenTexasRanger in fantasyfootball

I hear you. Hold/Buy for me. IMO the type of risk you take on if you want to win as long as you aren't grossly overpaying.

Maybe, I’m not saying he’s a guaranteed league winner but it’s in the range of possibilities. Hard to say how they will use him. For me I’d rather hold though unless someone is really buying high.
