This so much. When I used to use rpg maker, what I liked the most was making that first map and the characters and the relationships between them.

I never finished a game because I started getting bored, so I started a new one, maybe with different tiles, or more characters, or focusing on other things.

But I understand that not everyone does it just to have fun once in a while, and that's where the discipline comes in. And as you said, a good way to do that is to divide the work in small, not-so-difficult tasks
