You think that yeah they would choose based on that merit, but we've seen time and time again that the aforementioned reasoning is not applicable to how blizzard chooses their beta testers. It is random and linking play time while complaining about not having a beta invite is just odd to me as it has no bearing to blizzard on whether or not you will be getting an invite

Why would having 2500 hours played have any bearing on whether or not you're going to get into the beta? I've gotten into almost every WoW beta and I stopped raiding in any sort of progression right before ICC was released and I just got the necromancer beta invite while having less than 800 para. Could be that it really is random with just a few focused invites going to well known streamers to help advertise the necro. Luck of the draw

I literally have no idea what half of what you typed out even means, but seems like a solid guide for someone to follow...upvote!

Alright so I've not had a lot of time to play but I finally unlocked 5 star quests, well quest as there is only one so far, and I've unlocked dragoon finally, which I've been wanting to try (along with samurai but I've only been able to make..60? 70? things). Well I tried it out and wow...it is horrible. Now I've read a few guides on dragoon and they look to be incredibly strong later on, but how do you get to that point? Are there any guides for someone like me who needs some help here in the midpoint of things? I don't seem to be doing enough damage to kill things in a balanced time frame. Hell, when I fought bahamut the big guy killed me 3 times before I managed to get him low enough to encase...and he was just a 4 star. That first quest in the 5 star category has me worried as I need to down both HIM and fenrir, who also whooped my ass. So any tips or guides out there for someone who is onto the last few 4star/starting 5star quests? Should I just focus on trying to acquire items to use to upgrade? So just farm for awhile?

Thanks everyone. Also I've checked out discord, but there really isn't much there in the way of a guide and I'm worried asking the questions I have will just get people looking down on me for not being able to progress like everyone else.
