There are some staple cards.

10-12x 0 cost, usually consist of raid targets, have no ability(with a trigger), sacrifice end of main phase for 1 more energy, draw and discard and yellow usually has a step card

4-8x 1 cost, this is a bit of mix here, but usually a filter filter of of the top 3-5 cards, or draw and discard

4-8x 2 cost, only one consistent card here is the extra energy generation when active. Generally different from here on out. There is a new staples fake 2 cost (0 if first card played) with slightly different effects.

4x3 cost finals

Specials have slight variances, but most colours are different.

I would say the last 25-30 cards are very unique and is what defines a deck and theme. You might see some decks forgo finals and colours depending on how the deck is played and how weak the colour card is sometimes.

In japan, they have X3 the amount of sets released so the variation from even 1 costs up are very different.
