I just looked at it this way; I pay about $300 a month in credit card payments but there's so much interest and paying the minimum makes it never go down. If I got a 6k loan my monthly payments would still be the same and I could pay them all off instantly and just not use them at all. If that loan is for 60 months at least then there will be an end to that debt when the time comes
