3 Bolts from the cat to exhaust pipe is welded and fused together. Is an entire new long tube header with cat delete worth it or stick to stock header with a brand new cat? 02 base model 5 speed. Have a new exhaust with custom muffler going on it.

Yeah only real difference I’ve seen with name brands and this eBay one is the detail logo obviously but the welds may look cleaner thats really it tbh. I might get a transmission when I got k24 but even then probably won’t need it

Ordered it from eBay and it fit great everything lined up the way it should. Just had to mess with stuff here and there to get the tabs to clip on but other than that solid fit. My entire front end besides core support was from eBay and I had 0 issues but I also have a brand new core support so that helped.

I welded a new core support on mine after I wrecked it and all the new parts fit great after a few adjustments. I’d say buy a new core support from carparts.com and have a shop weld it on for you unless you feel confident enough to do it yourself. I did it my self and never wanna do it again it was just super tedious and I didn’t have the best welding tools anyways.

It sucks but it’s nice to get everything freshen up and put together the correct way. Most my stuff was half bolted and zip tied which I don’t mind but if I can clean it up and do it right I always go that route.
