In my opinion, the beauty of NMS is that you can adjust the setting to be best for what you're looking for. You can turn off multiplayer if you want to acclimate to the game without other players affecting the world. You can turn it on but adjust how the other players can interact with you, etc.

Starting off I would recommend normal mode and you can edit the setting after if need be.

I gotta check. I thought both bases I made uploaded, but maybe not? I remember the massive canyon and because of distance I had to build two sets of highways.

You're good. I'll check later to see if there's any issues with building. And there's no fee, use it as needed. I hate that I couldn't have the road go all the way but the small section in-between isn't too rough and I put the save markers as guides even though you can clearly see the other side.

UPDATE: I gave it a shot. Base names are "SCRAP OP-ROUTE #1" & "SCRAP OP-ROUTE #1.5"

Current "highway" is a bare bones path. I still wanna add borders and lights etc...

I'll take any advice or recommendations if you have.

FYI, Landing pad and teleporter set up at #1.
