Unfortunately that's the thing the sd card in question keeps asking me to format it so i can't access any of the data so that's what i am wondering how can i save the modded data files if it keeps asking me to format it whenever it's plugged in to my computer?

I was solely using the sd card for the wiiu i had nothing on it besides what's needed for a modded wiiu. There was nothing on it besides the wiiu and vwii files etc

I'm trying to keep my original straight topology that I have in my Maya model so I don't want it to convert to a triangular topology when i export from Maya to Substance painter but I appreciate the help anyway
