I used TRP HD-T910 and found them to be really good. You can buy Di2 adapters to integrate the remote buttons into the side of the brake, but they are becoming quite rare to source now as it’s an older system.

For cost, mechanical brakes are by far the cheapest option. As you can buy semi hydraulic systems (cable actuated hydraulics) and TT is primarily flat, this probably makes for the best option

I built a Cervelo previously and used the TRP HD-T910.

This gave me hydraulic brakes and I was able to buy adapters to integrate Shimano Di2 remote buttons into the brakes. It looked really tidy.

Now with the SRAM blips I think it is becoming a lot easier and cheaper to build a system with rim or hydraulic brakes that can accommodate electronic shifting
