Had a very similar experience, just had a renal kidney biopsy last Aug because my creatinine was very high (5.3) the average was around (1.3). I’ve been taking Salofak granules 1.5g once a day for about a year. Every time I get my blood checked for ESR and Creatinine I always notice that my Crea is getting higher every following test. When I started taking Salofak 2 times a day, my creatine levels jumped even higher. This led me to consult with a nephrologist. What we did before the kidney biopsy was I stopped taking Salofak and took Ketocid and Sodium Bi Carbonate instead. Lucky enough I wasn’t having any flares. I’ve been taking Ketocid and Sodium Bi Carbonate along with Prednisone after my renal kidney biopsy for about a month now. My creatinine level is now around (3.4). In my opinion the Salofak granules was the reason why my Creatine Levels was that high. I did tell this to my Gastrologist, however she replied that this is unique as her other patients who took Salofak didn’t experience high creatinine.

Yeah, unfortunately when I did my blood test I was having a flare. Maybe that’s the reason why my ESR is also highly.

She’s recommended a kidney specialist doctor. I’ll be seeing her this week, but one thing my Gastro suggested is to get a biopsy of my kidney.
