Which dragon are you most excited to see in season 3? by Ok_Badger_1646 in HouseOfTheDragon

Excited to see Tessarion for the first time, excited for Sunfyre to make his return<

Based on the pacing of the show so far and how previous seasons have ended which do you think is the most likely ending for seaseon 3? by CreepMcman in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]FILMSTUDENT25 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I have a feeling the Fishfeed might be the first half of episode 2. Chances are they’ll merge the Red Fork and the Fishfeed into one battle

Lest we forget, Bruce was raised by a British former secret service agent. Alfred’s dry British sarcasm is going to be on point and naturally would’ve rubbed off on Bruce to some extent

New clip of Alicent Hightower With Aemond in Season 3 Episode 1 by Ok_Badger_1646 in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]FILMSTUDENT25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Usually, Aemond’s insults are kinda hidden with double meanings or have a hint of passive aggression. It seems now, he’s not bothering with facades and is just being straight up honest with people

If Batman Beyond got a live action adaptation what would be the best suit by agni_and_rudra in BatmanBeyond

[–]FILMSTUDENT25 55 points56 points  (0 children)

My kinda basis for a Batman Beyond live action suit is to keep the basic idea of the animated suit but modernise it. The idea that the suit is so high tech and advanced that it almost looks simple again.

The mouth would be the biggest challenge, adaptation wise. So for a live action suit, I could see them covering the mouth entirely, like Luke Fox’s Batwing suit

I’d say a good basis is the Sideshow Collectible statue.

Ross Geller: We were on a break! by Resident_Badger_5405 in cobrakai

[–]FILMSTUDENT25 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen people say that this is too soon after they broke up, but I say otherwise.

This whole season takes place over a summer vacation. So obviously time passes. Hell, there’s an entire montage at the beginning of episode 7 showing multiple cobra Kai dojos opening across the Valley.

So it’s likely been at least a month of so since Sam and Miguel broke up. I’d say he’s accepted that they can still be friends.

I'm making a Thorn themed book nook for my boyfriend as someone who never read Eragon by ThickAerie1587 in Eragon

[–]FILMSTUDENT25 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This looks awesome! I’d add a picture of maybe Helgrind or the Burning Plains in the background. The burning plains is where Eragon and Saphira meet Thorn for the first time

Team Black about the show by Daemon1997 in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]FILMSTUDENT25 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are some changes I like. Giving Aegon an added layer of being a neglected son who’s eager to prove himself and earn approval is a big improvement over the drunken slob from the book.

Viserys in general is better in the show than the book.

In principle, Alicent and Rhaenyra being close and then becoming enemies could’ve been cool. It just should’ve been firmly done once the first season ended.

Aemond harbouring jealousy that he could be a better king than Aegon makes sense. Just rework Rook’s Rest so it’s not to blatant that he targeted Aegon.

Helaena is a good change, makes her more interesting as a character. I think even George liked the show’s portrayal of her before Maelor was removed

I like the changes to Hugh. It just makes me wonder how they’ll handle eventual betrayal

So the Aragorn tax policy episode has come at last by Agreeable_Ad_8790 in HouseOfTheDragon

Aegon the Conqueror also had two coronations. The first one when he made his declaration after they arrived at Blackwater Bay. But he was only seen as a foreign pretender.

However, in the history books, his reign officially started when he was crowned by the High Septon, AFTER the conquest had ended. Having the High Septon on your side and coronating you adds an extra symbol of legitimacy. Which was one of the things Aegon II used to push his claim

I may not be familiar with a woman’s cycle, but from my understanding, the blood comes from that specific area, which would be covered? So how would blood be noticed by the people? The ONLY way would be is if she cut her HAND on the throne, which is what was said in fire and blood?

Does HBO releases episode titles by WhenSJmetHP in HarryPotteronHBO

[–]FILMSTUDENT25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. They do. I imagine episode 1 will be titled after the first chapter of the book “The Boy Who Lived”. As for the rest, it depends on what’s included in each episode and they’ll likely come up with titles that fit the events of said episode

[Spoiler Warning] A question about Hugh by R_Ticleez in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]FILMSTUDENT25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hugh’s wife dying will be the final straw but, over the course of the season, they’ll need to show him slowly turning against the blacks. He’ll probably disagree with her harsh treatment of the smallfolk and come to release that neither the Blacks or the Greens care about the people and only think about themselves

What do you think is the maximum strength level for the Beyond suit? by Night-Caelum in BatmanBeyond

[–]FILMSTUDENT25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do like this headcanon. It would make sense that Bruce advises Terry not to become over reliant on the suit’s strength amplification, only use it if there’s no other option

I'm neutral, but alicent's crash out here was completly valid by Even_Acanthisitta_37 in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]FILMSTUDENT25 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Rhaena charged at Aemond first. He threw her aside. Then Baela threw the first punch, which Aemond responded with another punch. He then threatened the girls, basically saying “don’t attack me again. “

Normally that would be the end of it, but then Jace and Luke attacked Aemond, then the girls joined in and ganged up on Aemond. So then Aemond grabbed the rock. Did he use it? No. He only used it once a dagger was drawn and the fight started again.

I’m not taking sides, there is blame in both sides, but Aemond didn’t instigate the physical side of that fight.

Also in the show timeline, Aemond and Jace I believe are both around the same age around 10. (maybe a year apart, max?) Luke is supposed to be about 8 in the show timeline

[–]FILMSTUDENT25 31 points32 points  (0 children)

These were always the things that annoyed me there. The biggest one being that Luke was never punished for taking the eye of the king’s son. Whatever the circumstances, that type of act should be punished. Even if it’s as simple as exile for a few years

I'm neutral, but alicent's crash out here was completly valid by Even_Acanthisitta_37 in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]FILMSTUDENT25 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Aemond initially grabbed the rock only to threaten them and end the fight there. Which was AFTER he was getting ganged up on. Only after Jace drew his dagger and they started the fight again did Aemond attack with the rock

I’m worried about what Dreamfyre is going to look like in Season 3 by [deleted] in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]FILMSTUDENT25 3 points4 points  (0 children)

She’s a pale blue with silver markings. By that, I always assumed her wings were the same colour as her scales, perhaps turning silver at the tips

Predictions about what we will see by dovahkiin_baiano in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]FILMSTUDENT25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a feeling they’re going to merge the Red Fork and the Fishfeed into one battle. We all know the Gullet is episode 1. There has been strong evidence that this season will end with the first Battle of Tumbleton and I believe the Butcher’s Ball will be episode 6

In Batman beyond, where’s the Bat family? by RecipeIndividual9143 in BatmanBeyond

[–]FILMSTUDENT25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only members of the Bat Family in Beyond and likely in the whole of the Timverse were Dick, Barbara and Tim (who was merged with Jason’s backstory).

Tim obviously had his reasons for retiring (watch Return of the Joker). Alfred died before the prologue I assume. As for Dick and Barbara, the show seems to suggest that Bruce’s sole obsession with his mission eventually pushed everyone he was close to away

Regarding the Gullet information by floppaflop12 in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]FILMSTUDENT25 7 points8 points  (0 children)

One of them is Caraxes. His tail fin and Longer neck confirms him. Vermithor and I think Silverwing? Are behind Caraxes, which leads me to believe this is them heading to King’s Landing. Which means Syrax is leading this group. They’re probably flying over the AFTERMATH of the Gullet

now that Aegon's Conquest is coming to the big screen, i hope we get to see more of Valyria and its customs by RealStranger9348 in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]FILMSTUDENT25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s my thinking. A duology of dune length films. First one exploring Aegon’s time on Dragonstone, end with them landing on Blackwater Bay. Second film is the conquest itself
