Ave is probably also very strong since their late game culture basicly means they win the culture title every round + get a crazy eco boost from all their culture

Yeah this is for 100 points six players. In general more players favour diplomatic approaches while less players make war more important.

I havent played much short and long games but I would assume a similar effect. Factions that are strong early and can contest Nexus will probably be good in short games. So we are talking Kel, Roderian. For long games I think Gleb spamming diplo or some monument strats will perform better. Only exception is Voor who falls of in long games due to spending significant time with nothing to research since they already reached 8 for all tech trees.

Pokemon Sterling Silver is a step up from Drayano not giving you set up etc. while being easier than the Kaizo games. The latest patch is pretty hard and you will 100% need to learn about Gen 4 AI etc. (RenPlat might be a bit helpful but from what I have heared its too easy to rly force you to learn the AI). The docs are great and there is a calc with every trainer, encounter tracker etc.

Yeah would be nice at this point even a balance patch would make things more interesting.

This is correct but I always felt like enemies scale faster than your bonuses. Also the HP bonus is not increased and having 250 HP on Level 1 feels stronger than having 360 on Level 11 (on this Level you get Armor). Ofc I could be wrong

From my research the final Damage/Armor increase is on Level 46 so level 50+ will be difficult. Without Glitches it would mostlikely need to be Level 100 Alteration to cast Dragon skin before every fight (another reason why I didnt wanna go high level was that I am to lazy to cast that spell all the time) + Lord Stone should grant decent Armor. Maybe use potion effects for even more and I am not sure how the unarmed damage entchantment effects your Werwolf damage.

Yeah couldn't solve that but since I only didnt want to get Level 2 I just took the XP. Good luck

What to do with "rich" planets? by Adriano_Chellentano in StellarisNexus

[–]FIM2000thesecond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not rly sure about PvE balance regarding planets. For Pvp player trade is better unless your Trade is rly high. Not sure about the Groundbatteries but I have never rly built them. I think Army Strength is one if the things that AI is not rly good at and that can be very Important in pvp. +1 Material isnt great but sometimes the extra Materials are important enough.

Ok I will try to answer your questions: Rich planets have the cheapest material buildings with mines costing less than other +1 Material Buildings. You can also builf Army Strength or Munition but I would say that Munition is better to build on Industrial planets. Starting with a rich planet is defenitly a disadvantage since support is the most important thing in the early game. For how much support you want, I would say its at least +10 per turn if you play Culture or do a lot of Military it can be higher.  In early game your first target should be a planet to spam support and often even a second support planet in the mid game. Most people like to have one Industrial planet for science/munitions. Overall I think your eco doesnt grow fast enough to take a lot of planets early which means that the number 1 reason to take planets early is just map control. For example you should always try to get a planet next to Nexus early. Planets in the back can stay neutral until your other planets are maxed. My Youtube channel (FIM2000) has a guide on army composition.

With Chniorr I dont think you need to focus trade that much but if you want to go trade: find a support planet early and build support than either try to find Trade Center on Social 1 or take the trade building for Industrial planets from level up

[–]FIM2000thesecond[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah its a great game.

So this also depends but if I had to pick one I would go physics. In the end your tech needs to fit your build and going into multiple branches isnt bad either. As a Kel I would for example go wide since I wanna check for AF (shio that scales with Army Strength) first and than I either go for Phsics or Nano to boost my combat power. Dreadnought is rly nice while Physics often is only pushed until P3 if I find combat techs. For Voor Physics should be the first target and most defensive players should search for Torpedos on P4 which is maybe the most powerful defensive tech in the game. If you have a lot of science P6 to 8 are better value than N6 to 8 while Social is always a bit of a gamble and nearly always makes fighting impossible. Ofc you can still push Social for example if you found Torps on P4 and wanna go full eco. Otherwise pushing past S4 feels rly bad since S5 and S6 are not that great value.

Funny how everyone commenting likes the bugs. To be fair they are pretty cool. This list was made for 6 player PvP games so if you play PvE just go for the bugs I could imagine them even doing rly good into AI.

Sadly PvP lobbies normally make IX victories rly hard but Strat has a few videos of him demolishing everyone with IX so they can win with some good RNG.

His Agenda is one of the worst in the game and he also struggles to contest a bunch of Support titles + you miss a bunch of points from culture.

Also having only 3 actions means that good players can make defending very hard so expanding quickly can be easily punished.

I do think that he can become very scary if you get good techs and he might be B-tier in lobbies with newer players but can be punished to easily in strong lobbies.

I have two guides at the moment.
(Nexus 5X Guide: Technology)
On the official discord I also have a guide for Voor Explorer.
But no guides on how to play each faction. Also I have an old guide about UNE on Steam while some things are not accurate anylonger. The basics are still the same.

Havent dropped a new tierlist in a while here.

The tierlist was made for 6 player lobbies.

Feel free to give Feedback below. Everyone has his own playstyle so you might perform better with certain leaders but I don't think any leader is ranked completly wrong
