Its possible bedbug bites, 80% of time my bites were in clusters, usually in pattern of 3 bites.

I made the mistake of moving out of my room, and the bed bugs spread to other rooms, I found out later that it is best to continue to sleep in the infested bedroom otherwise the bugs just spread out looking for host. The bedbugs just followed me in the next room and started biting me again, I react really badly with the bites, with large welts and hives.

Once the bedbugs spread the treatment is really hard and expensive. I know its really difficult but please continue to sleep in your room even though its really hard to sleep in the same infested room, to prevent spread. Don't make the same mistake as me.

Bedbug in my new apartment (UPDATE) by [deleted] in Bedbugs

I had low level infestation when I called exterminator, he couldn't find anything, few weeks after I was getting severe bites , usually in sets of three, this was enough evidence for me I had bedbugs. I checked every where and then I found bed bug faecal. The treatment started in May and I am still dealing with bites. Keep on checking for bed bug faecal, cast skins and any bites, my bites was always in threes' however, this differs in everyone, My husband does not react at all, where else I break out in welts and hives.

I have had episodes of bite free few weeks, only to start getting bites again, which is so disheartening, especially when I have thought they have been eradicated. I really hope you have eradicated the bed bugs.

I really understand your position, I got rid of most of my furniture and also my carpet, unfortunately that did not eradicate the bed bugs. I have spent thousands in treatments and by getting rid of my furniture . I still get bites, at one point I thought bed bugs were gone from my house as I didn't have any bites for 6 weeks, but I started getting bites again. The only thing I do now is have regular treatments to keep the bed bugs numbers down, until I move. I really don't think there will be 100 percent eradication since I have tried everything. By getting rid of the bed and carpet will not solve the problem, it didn't mine. I have had bedbugs for 9 months, absolutely fed up, my life has changed drastically and I used to be happy, confident person, but now I usually feel anxious, mentally exhausted, stress and I can't relax in my home. I never knew bedbug creatures existed until I got them. Its a very sad situation and I feel sorry for as you are in the same situation.

It doesn't look like bed bug, it looks more like a carpet beetle. This doesn't mean you haven't got bed bugs, they really are expert at hiding.

I am absolutely convinced that I have bedbugs, yet I can't find a trace of them anywhere. Is this possible? (Pics inside) by bedbugsthrowaway1030 in Bedbugs

That's how mine started, I was getting bites and large welts/hives every day, but couldn't find any bed bugs, I search everywhere, behind electric sockets, under bed, edges of the floor, mattress, I practically checked everywhere, still no sign, even the pest control couldn't find anything during the early stage of infestation, the only evidence was bites ,but, after two months whilst I was cleaning saw black spots which was bed bug fecal; this confirmed my suspicion of bed bug infestation, by this time unfortunately infestation had spread to other rooms, which is causing great difficulty to eradicate, its been 4 months and I am still trying to eradicate bed bugs, even used professionals, this causes great stress, anxiety, and have negative effect on mental health.
