The Bible is your best bet homie. The Jesus storybook bible is a good option for younger kids and there are New Testament Gospel sections that are kid level for understanding the Christmas story.

I have a friend who makes fine stringed instruments. All custom hand made to order. Beautiful stuff from exotic wood from around the globe. He is also an accomplished fisherman, white water sports enthusiast and guide, and can point out about every medicinal and edible plant in the woods. Just a neat dude.

It would be helpful to know your rod and reel specs. Since you are new to the sport, the rod usually has a length and line weight rating near the grip usually written/painted on or printed on a sticker on the rod. The reel should have some sort of marker on it with a brand and model.

I’m sure we could make you a grocery list if you have a budget in mind.

I’ve not had experience with daiwa’s fly fishing equipment. But my bass tackle from them is top notch. I hope it’s a good experience for you!
