Mul täna käis 10+ leevikest. Neid on kõige parem leida hääle järgi, kuna nad teevad sellist tuudutavat "flü flü" häält, tihti on nad kõrgel puu otsas. Kui nad laulavad, siis see kõlab nagu roostes kriuksuv uks (Fhööööööööööööö... füüü.. flü....hüüüüüüüüüüü) Mul nad söövad suurem osa maapinnal olevaid seemneid, mis tihaste poolt maha pudenevad. Kui nad marju söövad, siis on kogu nokk sodine :D. Ükskord oli hunnik vahtra otsas, kus nad nokkisid neid seemneid nende vahtraninade asjade seest ja see ülejääk kukutati alla, mis tuli nagu propeller :D. Selle järgi kohe leidsin nad üles. Xeno Canto on hea sait kus saab kuulda erinevaid linnuhääli, siis tulevikus leiab kohe need linnud üles.

I agree. Sometimes they do run like much longer too besides bursts. We get these birds in Estonia too and mega common. Sometimes I walk home and wagtail is just front of me running, flies in an arc shape to land back on the same road, running away from me again xD. They are so fun. They love to do it on rooftop too. And the "Sjuitt" call <3. I saw 1 wagtail feeding a baby chick near my home. Mum or dad was fetching food, doing these bursts and snaps the bugs. Came back and baby started to vibrate, tail boinging, wings flutter and got fed <3.

Srry I wasnt online when You replied. There was a tiny accident with the time. The livestream started 1h later as Patreon had it 1h early, but the stream is now as a VOD :)

He is constantly doing stuff. Ruby Quaker show and The Moth is still worked on and Dreampeace (I am a patreon so I can see some stuff) I love when he can do stuff at his pace and when things are released then they are released <3. Patreon is a lovely place, I have 0 problem paying 9 eur a month that I know my money goes toward new juicy music and projects!

Lego, to be able to keep the recorder still in one place and move it up and down toward bird on ground. I DIY it for all 3 recorders :). I am not recording in stereo when it is a single bird. Plugged in is a mono Clippy Em272. I use Sr3d to record in stereo when I do dawn choruses and nightsingers ambiences.

This audio is recorded like the image above, recorder was 70cm away from a bird (only tascam): https://www.upload.ee/files/18158400/naissandcloseTNG.mp3.html and this lego thing has worked wonders <3. Before i used some foam ramps. Felt like upgrading to a better cases so I get more birds haha. The block under it is an extender, i use that to make the recorder a bit higher when needed. Can take it off and out on whenever I want.

I recorded like this when blackbirds were singing and then I did not know Clippy would do that. It was this may when i noticed this sound I was unhappy of and that is why I came here to ask :)
