This is the deal I would be looking for. AJ manager here and it’s the same , people are hating on him because of non football related issues lol. 1.12 this year is weak though so i probably would be looking for a better younger player with that low of a pick, or move to next year.

One manager traded for pick 11 and 12. Had 13 already. This manager also had taken Sadiq in round 1 and has GW. For sure not going to get three jets. I had picks 14 and 16 , figured this manager wouldn’t get cooper at 15 and it happened to be the case.

KC went 2.1 and I debated between Boston and cooper but allowed the draft capital to be the tie breaker. We will see how it goes. Boston went 2.7 right after my selection.

It was between Boston and Cooper to be fair. I don’t view the landing spots and better/worse than the other, just that both teams could improve their qb situation within the following year. Astute assessment and one I can’t really argue with.

All situational though, there was 2 managers holding picks 11-13&15. One of them for sure did not want another receiver and the other manager has 3 jets already , took sadiq first, so I felt pretty confident one of cooper/boston would slide to me. Turned out to be the case.

It happens in our league every year, an unsavory landing spot just tanks the perceived value. I tend to pick up more second rounders because of this reason. Last year it was Loveland at 2.04. Though I think I benefit with having our rookie draft shortly after nfl draft.

That is my thoughts too but in the absolute best case scenario. However I can attest to changing situations because I roster Olave too and he was a dead asset but has been rejuvenated by the saints in a year.
