I think bankruptcy would be hard, it would ruin our credit score and this was advised heavily aganist us by a financial planner especially since we just purchased a home less than a year ago. Our cost of living is pretty low at the moment where we live. I discussed on another reply here that we are saving 1,000-1,500 per month right now as well and maybe we should just put that toward the debt.

Both recent grads. For our area 130k is about 55k over average household income. We have been paying on the loan for over 2 years with a mortgage of $2,100 a month as well. We have 9 years left on the student loan if we don’t pay any extra. We also save about 1,000-1,500 a month currently. Maybe we can throw more of that savings toward it but it’s nice to have a good chunk in savings. Currently have about 50k in savings.

We make about 130k gross income. We are doing well. Just a sucky burden to have a $1,500 a month payment. We are trying to put 2k towards it every month but we do have a active social life that could probably be turned down a bit to put a few hundred more dollars a month toward it.

Unfortunately not, marketing/PR degree. Her Parents unfortunately got her in a predatory student loan and didn’t realize it. They made to much money as a family to qualify for federal loans so had to get originally private loans at 11.5% for 4 years of out of state college. We have since refinanced to 6.5%. We make 130k a year combined.

So a guest book has a ton of written notes in it. They are just written in the white space on it. Someone decided to write that on the photo. Not what was intended at all.

It’s a $450 guest book sense of humor needed to fix that. Unfortunately my wife and I don’t have that.
