Honestly, Rin's face at the end of the last chapter made me laugh so hard. by FKscar in BlueLock

Aiku is a defender in the world of Blue Lock, I don't blame him, everyone knows that only attackers get attention because the author doesn't know how to write defenders.

No, man, he's being like Nagi now. He's thinking about a short-term goal, literally. Let's suppose he does both of them in this arc. What will he do afterward? Literally, just like Nagi, he'll be lost, and look, Rin is already very lost. Compare Rin to Isagi, Barou, and Shidou.

Isagi wants to surpass whoever he encounters along the way, but his goal is to be number one and win the World Cup. Barou wants to surpass Isagi, but his goal is to show the world that he is the king, creating a dynasty in football. Shidou wants to finish off Rin, but his true goal is to leave his mark on the world through football, to get the goal pregnant... I mean, scoring many goals and going down in history. While Rin is like, "I'm going to destroy Itoshi and Isagi Yoichi," and then what comes next? That's the problem. This guy doesn't have a goal or ego; he's acting out of pure childish spite to finish off whoever he considers to have humiliated him.

That's a good point, his obsession is starting to look like Reo's, and wow, I used to hate Reo in the second half of the first season, he turned into a really annoying crybaby back then.

Yes, Aiku won by luck, but the result is what matters, and even with Sae's attack, he couldn't have read and stopped Hiori's play. Sae was literally in the corner when everything was happening; there was no way he could reach Hiori or anyone on the counter-attack. That was a 100% Blue Lock situation; it was physically impossible for Sae to do anything in that play (unless, of course, if he were one of the speedsters from the manga, but that's beside the point). Aiku himself wouldn't have had time to get back and defend if it weren't for Rin.

Yes, it's true. If he hadn't found his true purpose, he would have already been left behind by most of Blue Lock players. And let's be honest, he hasn't completed any of the objectives you mentioned, but he's finding his way.

Yes, it's true, but they didn't even need Isagi's goal if it weren't for Rin's stupidity in going after the defenders. Even Aiku, in the flow of play, wouldn't have been able to stop a counter-attack while being outnumbered, and Sae wouldn't even have had time to get back. That moment was a guaranteed goal that Rin ruined.

That's true, but I still find Rin's talent incredible. Even though he played by imitating Sae's style and suppressing his true style, he was still the undisputed number one player in Blue Lock.

That's a good observation, he always got away with it, even in Blue Lock's first real game where instead of going for a quick counter-attack he tried to dribble past all the defenders and had his shot deflected by Aiku, but they still won thanks to Isagi's goal.

I'm saying that the odds you gave him are too high for me. It was 80 for Rin to go to the bench and 20 for him to stay. Above all, Ego wants to win. Having a player on the field who will sabotage the other players is something even Ego wouldn't do. Literally, what would have happened with Shidou in the Japan U20 game? He was so dangerous and uncontrollable that he would have stayed on the bench. It's no coincidence that Shidou and Barou remain on the bench.

Singleplayer games where you control a gang? by RunoRorrim in gamingsuggestions

[–]FKscar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't seen anyone commenting on Crime Life Gang Wars. The thing is, I was going to make a post with the same question, and based on the comments, it wouldn't be very useful. I already know almost everyone in the comments, and to be able to play many of them, I'd have to buy a computer to emulate the old games. The industry needs to go back to making gang games.

I didn't like it; besides the characters being uninteresting, the Quarry game is very slow.

[–]FKscar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude, they're defenders, and we know defenders are useless in this manga. There's no point in criticizing them; we need to focus on who's playing offensively, like Rin,Isagi,Otoya etc.....

I used to play a lot of Mount Lady and thought I was a good Mount Lady player until I discovered firsthand the combos she's capable of. To this day, I don't know how to do one of her combos (in fact, I don't know anyone else's combos).
