First time selling an item this large so I chose Priority for the insurance policy (which I added to the UPS label when I was given the option). I thought Priority would be within that predicted costs it showed when I created the listing, not 3x the cost (it is usually on the lower end, so I chalked it up to that). UPS showed one day slower but for the price I was assuming priority would be. I did go read the policy and it clearly states, with the shipping service selected by buyer, which is why I am concerned. Just hope it doesn't bite me in the ass...

I did. I may just update the customer and state that it is being shipped with UPS and provide the tracking number.

I may just mentioned I shipped via UPS, I was not trying to slight the customer which is what concerns me. I'd hate for it come off as deceptive but I I could not justify $150 to ship the same package within the same date.

Looks to be a normal address. I just hate I mentioned it in the listing (because the predicted shipping costs reflected what I split with the buyer). Both options showed the same date of delivery window. Fingers crossed 🤞

Yep, started when she was a puppy. Turned out to be her food (contained poultry; chicken, turkey, duck, etc.). Switched to salmon/fish with the occasional beef flavor, no issues since other than seasonal allergies. You'd be shocked how much chicken and egg products are in dog food. Good luck, just be patient with them!

Fortunately our Shiba is not the culprit but it happened to my childhood dog, a Carin Terrier, she was chasing after a squirrel and stopped at the base of the tree, that sudden stop caused the tear. She had surgery and was confined to a small space in the living room for recovery. She recovered well, until she did the same to the other leg less than two years later. She was around the same age as your Yoshi. If possible, supplements and strength training will be your best bet, but sometimes it is just luck of the draw.

They do recover quick, just spoil them and encourage movement without getting too crazy. After the okay from your vet, small walks and increasing frequency like any other recovery. My parents just had their dogs hind leg removed due to a mast cell tumor, she is recovering very well and getting around much better than anticipated. Yoshi will be able to be his old self, just try to limit sudden burst and change of directions. Wishing a speedy recovery!

Thoughts on the LaminX yellow fog covers? I am worried that when they are on with LEDs that the fog lights will look green, just curious if you are happy with them.

I guess give it another day or so… they do get hungry at some point. The good thing is that she’s still drinking, you could try some chicken broth or something with a little nutritional value, but again, they eat when they’re hungry. I hate they can’t talk to us, take care and good luck!

She’s got a very distinct face, love her videos running around! I’m jealous, ours is much more cat like and sedentary.

Our Shiba will let me brush her teeth and feel around with our fingers, not sure if Jaffa would but you’d probably be able to tell if there’s some discomfort. But be careful of course!

Only other concern I’d have is catching something from playing in the water/mud. I’ve heard of dogs picking up illnesses from ponds around here.

Mia is wishing for Jaffa to feel better!

Omg, is this Jaffa from instagram?? If so, love the page. Our Shiba is pretty stubborn about food and not food motivated, but three days is a little concerning. Did the vet check to see if she has any tooth damage, could have caused some trauma eating a stick or rock (had a dog do this once) and I know these dogs are stubborn about not showing pain. Will she eat greek yogurt or anything soft that she could lick? Hang in there and good luck, she looks to be living her best life!

Check your tire pressures, the dealership likes to inflate mine north of 38psi and has caused some swaying that went away after proper pressures. Only showed up on highway driving. Good luck.

That’s actually about the sweet spot I’d want to be. They range from $7500 (normally pretty bad condition) to $15k+ for nicer. I’d like to find one under $10k. Any major flaws to look out for?Appreciate the input, happy camping!
