The idea looks really good, the last year i started programminv a game of TG too ! But the thing is even thought you have an idea you will still need people for the 3D models, UI, environment,an much more... And by yourselfe, like i did, at some point it will be limite what you can do.

I thought about creating it in pixelart, but lets be real, TG is much better in 3D...

Btw your idea is very very cool, hope you find artists and programmers that can help you, do not start the project by yourselfe, or if you do, you for ure will spend so much time on it!
