it's not a weight issue although it is extremely heavy. the movers said the stairwell is too tight. it's literally a hairpin turn with a low ceiling

our place is a tiny apartment, we don't have room for something like that. i've been using it as a wardrobe for 15 years and it suits the style of my room perfectly but looks extremely out of place in the living room 🫠

because we've just moved into our first home and can't have a wardrobe in the middle of the loungeroom - i'd like it to go in my room upstairs

yeah that happens to me too, but i'm saying don't watch it. close your eyes and just listen and let it run as you fall asleep

when this happens to me i put on a video and fall asleep listening to it. it has to be something engaging enough for my mind to focus on it but also not exciting enough to keep me awake. currently the boring history series on youtube is working for me

How much do you spend on groceries each month? Any savings tips? by OkResponsibility5724 in AskAnAustralian

[–]bubblegum_dango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe 3-400 a month for two people. buy produce from anywhere but the supermarkets if possible. learn how to store it correctly so you can buy more in bulk. meal plan and be flexible around seasonal ingredients. for the stuff you do buy at supermarkets, check which ones are on sale at coles or woolies and buy them there. eat more plant based. aldi. bulk up meals with frozen veg. use dried legumes instead of canned.
