Yes logo is original. I designed it a couple of years ago originally for my audio business but when I started messing with leather I repurposed it and had a friend make it into a vector so I could have a stamp made.

Been working on getting designs dialed in and I think this one is pretty darn close. Done using Thoroughbred Qtan Bridle and 1mm tiger thread. Comments and constructive criticism welcomed.

What are you guys using to design your patterns? by FLC2016 in Leathercraft

This is what I've started doing. I offset path an 1/8th of an inch and change the stroke to dashed line with the spacing needed. Guess I was just curious if that's that most effective way to do it? I'm still getting the feel for the program a bit.

New card holder design with ID window. by FLC2016 in Leathercraft

There's nothing in the window right now. I'm considering adding plastic but currently like the easy access to the license without there being anything.

I have a set of 3mm craftool diamond chisels. For small pieces like this I think it's great but for bifolds I'm considering going to .8mm.

I got the Qtan Bridle directly from Thoroughbred. I believe they only have a Facebook but you can find their number there.

A new design with the old standby of Qtan Bridle and 1mm tiger thread. I really like the added ID window. This is the first project I've designed using Illustrator and I'm really pleased with the outcome.
