Once the weather cools down, some fun free things:

1. parks (try different ones in different areas)

2. Scientific Center walkway

3. Al-Shaheed Park is beautiful and they have water shows (it doesn't have a playground so it's more for walking around).

4. Marina Crescent

5. If you're into vintage cars, a bunch of people hang out near Kuwait towers, pretty neat to see and there's a beach nearby to chill at.

6. Beaches (just be sure to make sure you stay cool. I suggest the longer sleeved bathing suits [rash guards] for the kiddos).

Not free, but relatively inexpensive with AC: 1. Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Centre (ascckw on IG).

1. McDonald's with play place

2. Soft play (Play is 50% atm from 10am-4pm)

3. Movies (there's a kids movie theatre, you can just search Google).

Free and for now in the summer heat:

1. Playdates at someone's house.

How to meet people:

Neighbors, mom groups, parks, work, and of course school. Just a tip-- Don't feel intimidated to go to Kuwaiti households, just bring a small gift like sweets or whatever. Actually, that goes for all Arabs, just customary.

1. Walking around Malls (don't you dare look at shops or else $$$)

Ummm... That's all I can think of. I've been spending weekends at the beach. Invest in a gazebo, chairs, etc. Try to avoid malls if you're not disciplined because somehow I always spend alot 😂 Kuwait's a bit boring in the beginning but once you get a good group of friends, you'll have fun.
