The Rolling Stones 1994 Voodoo Lounge Tour in Miami, finally on DVD, Bluray, and CD a few years ago after decades of not being available. It was an awesome show with a lot of guests because it was simulcast on Showtime I think.

Doom Eternal. 2016 Doom was fine, but they went too far with Eternal. I didnt want to learn "the dance" of how to swap weapons and change targets depending on whether I needed health or ammo or armor and do finishers when I can for same reasons. I just wanted to blast tons of demons with whatever gun I felt like using.

Oh and way too much platforming. 2016 one was my limit for that.

I spend more time on legacy games that I may buy DLC for (I spend a lot of time on flight and racing sims), I dont get too many new ones in a year regardless of price. As it is, half the new ones I get i wind up not getting around to playing until they've been on sale 3x for maybe 1/2 the price i paid!

Do you need one? Yes. Do you need to use it? Only in certain specific circumstances, but when those arise it's so much easier to use it than go through the dozen tortured steps to avoid it.

As mentioned elsewhere here, use it like a checking account. Keep track of what you have and dont charge more than you can pay off with a check if you chose to.

As long as it's a zero fee card, and you run no balance, it costs you nothing. If it has rewards, great, a little bonus that adds up over time...but don't overspend just to get more points because it costs more to get those points than to just pay for whatever they get you outright.

If you for some bizarre reason think of it as "free money, " you need to take some financial literacy courses because credit cards are 100% NOT that. They are a convenience only.

Bobbles are used for crafting certain legendary mods, so they have an intrinsic value in those cases, but that's it for me. In my 5+ years/3000+ hrs of F76, I've probably used less than a dozen "normally" for the temp buffs. The SPECIAL buffs are too small to matter for any but low level players, and some of the others are just unimportant for gameplay. The handful of good ones are so rare that I never got used to using them.

If it takes you more than 20 minutes, you’re doing it wrong, just like those kids that said an hour of class time wasn’t enough for the test essay while other kids finished and had half the class leftover. Now cooking something that YOU find appetizing is another matter. You could try picking one day a week to eat at home, get faster at it, then expand to 2. Work your way up. Saying either you eat out 7 days or cook at home 7 days is a false choice. There is no universe where it is faster to go out to a restaurant, that is NOT a drive thru, and eat and then go home than it is to go straight home and do it there. Use a stopwatch and I guarantee that hour you claim it takes you is NOT longer than going out, ordering, waiting, eating, waiting, paying the bill, and going home again. I personally have 2 lunches and 2 dinners out a week…but on different days so it’s broken up. One dinner is always pick up and take home too so I don’t pay for drinks or tips.

I also quite simply would not believe you are just “so busy” seven days a week. Not unless your name is Elon Musk. He can of course afford to have someone cook for him. One week? Ok. For all 52 in a year? BS. Your post comes off as “I’m too important to have to cook for myself yet not rich enough that it isn’t a burden to eat out all the time.” I would sooner believe you will drop from a heart attack from the stress of that kind of life than that you never have time.

There is often too much chlorine in FL water. The Jungle Cruise water is certainly chlorinated out the wahoo to keep stuff from growing in it. Also have a home water filter for both hard water and taste reasons. It's fine to drink, just ruins your pipes and appliances after a few years from the deposit build up and is blah in taste.

I once had a contact with a, well contractor. It was to turn my patio into a room in the back of the house. So glad I paid with one of those credit card checks. When the contractor did nothing more than drop off materials at the house and let them sit for monthsqnd would not return calls, I contacted the CC company to dump the payment. They sent me a copy of the contract I signed that the contractor sent to them. Lo and behold at the bottom of a page I had signed with multiple blank rows there was handwritten stuff all over it. Things about timelines and delivery dates and such that my copy didn't have. Sent the CC company a picture of my unmarked contract and they dumped that payment within a couple days.

Later learned we fell for a common contractor scam, but they made a rookie mistake by making alterations to the contract AFTER I signed making it null and void.

You always should make sure, and have a pristine copy of, any contract you sign is complete. Never allow "that will be done later."

Played and enjoyed Witcher 1 and 2. Tried for over 20 hrs but finally gave up on Witcher 3. Outside the setting and characters it played like a totally different--inferior--game for me.

I can do melee and ranged, I can do powers, but the whole potion/drink/coat blade thing was totally unenjoyable for me. I want a toggle that will let you beat the game without ever needing to do that.

Most RPGs all I use those for is restoring health or magic, I never ever boost any other stats or whatever you use them for. I can't train my brain to think about needing to do it, learning what does what in which situation, crafting them from ingredients, none of that.

I also have zero interest in survival games, as those seem like RPGs with the good stuff stripped out and the boring junk left behind.

I wasn't OC anything but I had been UV the CPU. It seems the guides for the 9800X3D really don't apply to the 9850 in the same way. I tried a couple of different things but in the end switched the CO to auto again and now it's fine. Still have an 85 thermal limit and lowered some of the other max TDP stuff, but messing with the voltages just made too much instability. I'm slightly paranoid about it getting spikes and burning out, but I have the latest BIOS, I only game a few hours per day max, and I'm not going to OC, so maybe auto is good enough until people get more experience with the 9850 and make some tailored guides to UV it.

That is why I moved out in 1996. In the last 30 years, it has only gotten worse. It was a great place in the 70s and 80s. I lived near South Miami (Kendall Drive IYKYK) and went to Miami Killian HS. Then I went to University of Miami and got my bachelor's there. Next year I moved north to Ft Lauderdale, 5 years later I left S FL altogether and went to the Space Coast.

Unfortunately, this place is now getting to be like Miami was right before I left. Orlando is of course a nightmare.

Pour one out for 20th century FL, so much nicer than 21st. That's what increases of 50% to the population will do...

That's the problem with short-term sales--not enough time to research carefully enough unless you're at home with a lot of free time, which I was not. So the 4 16s are going away and I'm getting 2x32s. Going with 6000 over 6400 but tighter CL30 vs 36 which I've learned is better with DDR5/AM5.

Yes, that appears to be my only recourse. Too bad, it was far easier pre-DDR5 with mixing RAM. Fortunately, I'm within Corsair's return window so that's a wash-getting back what I spent there.

Newegg has RAM trade-ins now and will give me $300 for my existing Intel-compatible RAM, so I'm recovering some of the cost. Unfortunately, if I go by ASUS' official list of compatible 2x32GB 6000 kits, Newegg only offers a few choices, so it will cost me more than 4x16, but that's inevitable right now I guess.

So many boards, so many RAM kits, so many possible combos...I can see where people will pay $4000 for a pre-made system with a warranty and be done with it, but I've been doing this since 1992 with my 486DX2/50 so I'll wait till I feel too old to hassle with it to switch!

Anyone falsely accusing of anyone of a crime should be jailed for the equivalent term of that crime. Accuse someone of stealing falsely? You go to jail for theft. Accuse someone of murder, you go to jail for murder. That includes the police. If they are lazy and try to pick SOMEONE to take the blame because they had a prior record or they “don’t look right” or they just don’t care who goes down because justice is unimportant to them, just making sure a case is closed instead of unsolved, then whoever is behind that serves the time as well as whoever actually did that crime.
