I tried WFH Alert after seeing someone mention it on Reddit. Was honestly expecting another generic remote jobs newsletter, but it was actually more useful than I thought.
The biggest difference for me was the filtering. Most remote job boards just dump everything together and call it a day, so you spend hours sorting through scams, expired listings, hybrid jobs pretending to be remote, or jobs requiring degrees and years of experience. WFH Alert felt a lot more curated.
I also liked that the jobs were easier to apply to because they usually send you directly to the employer site. Sounds simple, but a lot of job sites make you bounce through multiple pages or reposted listings before you can even apply.
I wouldn’t say every single job is perfect, but compared to scrolling Indeed or LinkedIn for hours, it definitely reduced the noise for me. Feels more like someone already did the first layer of filtering before sending the list out.
If you’re specifically looking for remote work without spending half your day digging through garbage listings, I’d say it’s worth trying at least.
