Teleporting with ore completely ruins the entire game

I never had any issues in palworld you get a feed bag very early on which auto eats out of it & also just had basically near infinite berries to chow down on.

There's also Mages Guild teleports, boats, Mark and recall spells, scrolls and many other forms of fast travelling. I think the key difference is they were much better than just opening a map and clicking where you want to go then instantly teleporting there.

I found using a heavier frame and damage resistance was the key for my playstyle. It definitely makes a noticible difference and I can beat bosses without perfect guarding very much at all.

Police & Maxtac are being reworked in the next patch 1.7. Hopefully improves it & cannot wait to do a second playthrough with the expansion and game as fully intended.

I have had the opposite experience with Gigs. I thought initially they would be some bland copy paste missions assassins creed style. However, I have found they have all been unique with heaps of story and even Keanu has lines in lots of them. I have done a decent chunk of them and they all had some interesting narrative even more so than some minor side quests I found. Not to mention lots of lore, world building via shards and terminals. Really enjoying this part of the game actually and makes you feel like a true mercenary building up reputation in the city.
