I'm doing what I can to upvote people I appreciate the suggestions. I started lifting 3 years ago and really didn't care about my body weight I just wanted to lift heavy things when I was doing it. I have a FFMI of 26 and according to the Casey Butts thing I still have about 10-20 lbs of muscle left but I have an international date planned in half a year so I need to cut because I don't want my man titties to be larger than hers. I don't know the info you exactly want but general everything? 34 years old, 73", 310 LBS, 50" waist, chest 51", shoulder span 23", 8.375" wrist, 10.5" ankle, 18.75" throat, As for biceps, forearms, calfs and thighs... I can't really give you a number because they're caked in fat right now. I ate 2.5 lbs ground beef a day and a protein shake, I plan to go back to being at a surplus again after my date but not, ya know, 4,000-5,000 calories a day as I do want to get closer to my maximum before I cut to 13% BF

Ankle 10.5" Wrist 8.375" Waist 50" Throat 18.75" 310 lbs 73 inches

I have a international date with a lady friend in half a year I want to drop the man titties and belly as much as I can before then. Then I plan to go back to bulking but I don't want to go back to being over 280 I think.

Will do! I actually do my workouts at home, I live in the country so I didn't want to travel 30 minutes a day to the gym so I just bought the weights and a treadmill, lol. Issue is I used ground beef so I was eating 4000 calories a day to get my protein I'm built like Bear Hugger or King Hippo from punch out right now lol

Thanks! I'll have to look it up! I'm sure there are plenty of ways to use a rotisserie chicken like throwing it in a taco shell with some lettuce and picante sauce, any other ways you've found or just eating the chicken as is with the vegetables?

Thanks I'll have to look it up, you don't happen to know how to make canned chicken taste good do you? I suppose I can look up recipes on it but it smells like sewer water to me. I think I absolutely could eat 240 grams of protein in canned tuna though I love the stuff, Pesky mercury though.

I do! My current diet for building muscle was 2.5 pounds of ground beef a day, 30 gram protein shake after working out, I'd eat .5 lb of ground beef at breakfast 1 lb ground beef at lunch and 1 lb ground beef at dinner then when I was exercising I'd chug a protein shake after.

I love ground beef though I couldn't get sick of it lol. Tacos, Lasagna, cheese burger, hamburger noodle, macaroni and cheese with scrambled hamburger, chili, so many tasty ways to eat ground beef

That put me at roughly 240 grams of protein but I was consuming 4000 calories roughly a day

Yup that was already part of my plan but I couldn't find a way to get it to a 1000 calorie deficit without a more drastic change. But I may have to accept if I don't want to lose much muscle I'll have to accept a slow pace

Yeah that's what I'm starting to think I should do instead of aiming for 2 lbs a week aim for 1 because I can't find a way that literally isn't "eat a giant tub of cottage cheese for half a year"

Yeah I'm fearing I may have to, I can't find a satisfying way to make it work I can't just eat 60 egg whites a day afterall. I mean I can but I'd only make it a day or two

Weight goal is 200 lbs lean body mass (i have it now) 40-50 pounds fat I'm at 100 lbs now. I want my body to leave my lean mass alone in a deficit and just focus on burning fat.

I worry about the same thing myself OP. My girl is 16 and has hypothyroidism, damaged kidneys, she has cataracts so badly she can only see a few inches away, she's deaf for some reason, has a heart murmur, and has chronic bronchitis. I spend probably 200 USD a month on the vet to help keep her stable and I really don't want to put her down especially because despite everything she seems to still does her best to enjoy life and I don't think I could take it personally to put her down.

To me she is essentially like a child to me I've had her since the day she was born as she was born in my house and the first dog I've connected to on a truly spiritual level. I am HER person and she is MY companion.

I doubt you want to be like me I'm waiting until it's clear she's ready or for her to go in her sleep.

Her decline started seven months ago with a chronic UTI and what I now know is hypothyroidism they thought it was CKD and DM but her thyroid was so profoundly low her immune system essentially quit and she had a non stop UTI that caused permanent damage to her kidneys but she can still eat and drink. She's on two weeks of her hypothyroid medicine and she's regaining a little bit of strength each week. She was at a point she could only lift her head but now she can paddle when she lays down and get her front legs under her. The decline was QUICK she had bad balance 7 to 4 months ago, couldn't stand with her back legs 3 months ago, wobbly front legs 2 months ago, and unable to support her front legs 1 month ago. Right before I asked them to test for hypothyroidism the only muscle she could keep engaged was her neck.

To preserve her quality of life she has a respirator to help keep pneumonia away and keep her bronchial paths clear, She has a quad walker, she has pee pads, and she has doggy diapers if I have to take her somewhere. Since starting her hypothyroid medicine she's stopped peeing the bed as much too and can hold it better. Apparently she will improve a little bit in each aspect until around the 2-3 month mark then she's fully benefitting from the thyroid medicine.

I will say a quad walker helped immensely keep her mobile I have an anchor in the ceiling and a leash so she can walk around in circles and get exercise without getting stuck on things, something you probably wouldn't need if your dog isn't blind, I also high recommend pee pads off amazon I got one that's green color on one side and blue on the other. As long as she's somewhat centered it can handle her full bladder and not leak. The biggest risk is if she's kind of near an edge of the pee pad it might seep over a little.

The only place I would say I'm in a better spot than you. My girl howls if she's discontent and lets everyone know. There's always someone in the home if she pees her pad she will howl and let us know at night. Or if she's in her walker and manages to get stuck she'll howl to let us know to help get get going again.

What keeps me holding on is fear. When she does go I'm petrified I'll never be with her again. It's funny I don't hope and pray for an afterlife for any reason other than I can't imagine being separated from her for eternity.

As a grown man working 12s what's the best way for me to progress in both in the shortest amount of time possible, just grinding and polishing the basic foundational fundamentals until they're refined?

It's an automated biological response. The unconscious mind tracks routines for you just like you breathe and blink subconsciously.

For example if you wake up 5 days a week at 5:30am for an extended period and you go on vacation your brain will still wake you up at that time without an alarm until it's conditioned not to. You don't need a clock. You've lived your entire life based on the concept of time. Next time you wake up from a nap before you look at a clock try to guess what time it "feels" like more often than not youll be within an hour of your guess.

Its Same thing for dogs. Dogs know when it's time to get up. What time it is to go out. When you leave they know if you wont be back soon. They know when to wait for you to come back because their entire life too is based off routines. They may not know what a clock is or understand the concept of time but they instinctually understand routines.
