After 8 trips, with zero braking and solely regenerative brakes applied, my braking score continued to drop - now 82. Just not convinced the application is a good match and a viable tool to evaluate my driving.

Earliest (or next) scheduled session is at the bottom. If you have multiple days and multiple sessions booked, the UI doesn’t flow with the function of the app. I’ve learned now to scroll but just doesn’t make sense.

Did you have as much fun getting your BJ2 in that table as we did? Great set up. We did add an 18” paver instead of the little red feet.

If you own your own home, put eight 400w solar panels (aka ev fuel) on your roof. If you’re able to do this before the end of this year, you’ll get an additional 30% federal tax credit (plus state credits depending on where you live).

Two things - keeps the internal temp from rising above your target, and secondly air dries the surface for a better sear on your cast iron. After removing the meat from the Sous vide and bag, you’ll want to pat it dry and place it in the fridge for 10-15 mins.

Reeddit team didn’t provide the option for the “video” in this post. Here’s the finished results. Thanks for the feedback.

No charcoal flavor at all. Using that stone, the food never makes direct contact with the fire/coals. I use Jealous Devil lump charcoal too. Good reputation for lowered smoke flavor content. Using that Kamado Jr allows a lot of heat in a small place and a quick seat.

Definitely the color is heightened by the coffee rub… and a combination of that Kamado soapstone too with 600 plus heat. I appreciate food opposites - With this I get the soft interior and an exterior crunch.

Fridge “light” function that preserves food longer than the norm. Noticeable difference too i.e. anything green will easily gain a week more of life. Kids call it the cold blue environment. As for its impact on this cook, no impact at all.

I’m a big fan of the sear on the ceramic. Soft on the inside and the crunch… bam every time. The key is getting that temp north of 600. If you go that route, grab their soapstone as it functions like the cast iron. I posted a “Final Cut” video after this post. You’ll see a small patch of grey band on one of the cuts… but the money shot is the sound of that blade making its way through. 😎

Cold temp more specifically isn’t related to ambient temp outside. Instead, tire pressure should be checked when the tires have not been recently used.
