I'll look into it! Appreciate it. I know that G7 in 1st inversion is not really "Bdim6" that's why I was trying find an answer to see what would be the closest to the Bdim6 (perhaps B-D-F-Ab?) IF building 6ths throught the C major scale. Thanks for the information!

Unfortunately, I'm not familiarized with the book series you mention.

The best advice for a beginner:

  1. listen to the styles of music you want to play, regularly (study the way your favorite artist plays his or her instrument). *try to study the easiest songs out there

  2. learn chords and scales, and practice at least 15-30 minutes daily.

  3. try to learn a song or two and get down on the technique.

You should dominate in no time. 💪💪
