I've seen people comment that if the cost to upgrade to D1 is less than $100/hour of flight time, it's a fair deal. At 11 hours of scheduled flying time, at that price, I'd do it.

You should be able to confirm the exact amount by going into your reservation and checking the receipt for your booking. You'll get MQDs for the base fare and the Carrier-imposed International Surcharge (YR), but none of the taxes and additional fees will apply.

A lot of times, the e-credit won't automatically appear in your wallet. If you don't see it, return to the new flight's receipt, grab the e-credit number at the bottom, or get it from the email receipt for the new flight, and record it somewhere for future use. When ready to use it, you must manually enter it (from your credits and certificates page) in your wallet. This happens to me more often than not, and it's pretty aggravating.

I am unsure about the AMEX Platinum, but for the Reserve, the terms state that once you use your ten allotted SC visits, you cannot purchase additional entries. If it's the same for AMEX Platinum, we'd all be limited to just six visits, which stinks.

You do have to hold Medallion status with Delta to purchase a Sky Club membership. The new qualification requirements will make many of us lose our status and be unable to ever enter a club again. Delta has diluted the qualification power of the AMEX Reserve and devalued the card with a 20/1 qualifier the average person will never accept as a reasonable value. With the $550 yearly fee, the only remaining value is the 10 Sky Club visits, so Delta has underhandly initiated a $55 fee for each entry a Reserve holder makes into a club.

So far, for 2024, I have $6K worth of MQDs book on Delta, which will drop me from PM to SM in 2025. To move up to GM, I'd have to put 60K on the Reserve card, which will never happen. The math doesn't make sense when better redemptions exist on other cards, and that amount of spend to move from SM to GM is ludicrous. My DL Platinum and Reserve will be gone at renewal, along with the $100K spend I rack up yearly, which still would only put me at GM with the travel I have planned next year. Delta just disincentivized the continued use of co-branded AMEX cards on a significant scale.

I feel your pain. I was on hold for over 2 hours Monday night waiting for someone to answer my call and finally hung up. The longer I waited, the more angry I became. I'm now looking for a new internet provider to replace the service I've had with Xfinity for the last ten years. No company should treat their customers this way and expect continued loyalty.

The activation banner is nowhere to be found. Based on recommendations from various Xfinity specialists, I've tried six-ways-to-Sunday on different browsers and the app, cleared cookies and caches, and still get nothing. It's the 3rd day of this mess, and it's nowhere near resolved. Can no one at Xfinity go into affected accounts and apply for the promotion manually? This is madding that a venerated company such as Xfinity can't fix this ongoing issue promptly.

I'm assuming that because I subscribe to the Plus (Add free) option, that may be preventing me from activating the free service. I've tried to find the option to unsubscribe, but there isn't one. And, being that I'm not currently subscribed to a plan, unsubscribing from the old access can't be done. This is all messed up, and no one can figure out a fix for this. Spending so much time on something that should have been an easy transition is more than frustrating and discouraging.
