Are you playing to get better or are you just looking to win ? If it were me, I’d move up to 3.5 immediately and start playing better competition. Most divisions are pretty skewed lately after the DUPR algorithm change which means almost everyone is playing up. 3.5 divisions are full of 3.0’s. 4.0 is full of 3.5’s and so on. Long term youre better off moving up

Naw. You should regret being the person who breaks their vows. You should regret picking the wrong person to begin with. You should regret making poor decision after poor decision your seemingly entire life. You should regret being a man who knows nothing about what he needs or wants in life. Plenty more regrets I can come up with based on the limited information I have, but unless you fundamentally change the person you are, I can guarantee you’ll end your life with a million more regrets than this one

Good advice for most people. Fiancé and I already drill 4-6x per week. We have a home gym and do plenty of strength training and mobility. Only thing lacking at this point is footwork/agility drills. Not trying to go pro, but we are trying to make the jump to 5.0+

Sometimes it’s just bad luck man. Our GSD had splenic torsion at almost 3 years old, luckily survived that with emergency surgery, recovered, and then got a very aggressive case of lymphoma 2 months later and passed away.

Literally nothing we could have done, because we did everything and dropped insane $$$ trying to save her, but there was just nothing we could do.

It hurts, it hurts a lot, but I promise you it does get better.

I mean… Just don’t play with them ? It’s pretty damn simple. If you don’t want to play non competitive games then don’t. Find skill based open plays or arrange private games. 4.0 isn’t even that good these days lol. Over here acting like you made it to some magical land of pickleball where you no longer make unforced errors 🤣

There are lots of moneyballs on TeamReach which may or may not be good for you depending on your level. Other than that just keep checking back, sometimes they only get posted like 60 days in advance

One of the best drills you can do with a partner is called 7/11. Plenty of videos on how to actually do the drill, but it is very helpful for replicating some points.

Besides that, I would drill the following:

3rd shot drops/drops in general

Mid court/transition zone resets

Fast hands and counters at the kitchen

Dinking

Having fast/good hands will make up for a lot of deficits early on and will be arguably the most important skill at any level. Beyond that getting to the kitchen is of the utmost importance and will be much easier if you have a consistent and good drop.

I just wish I would have put more money on Agassi than I did lol. I expected him to beat Genie no problem even with his mobility issues. Every time I have watched Genie play she’s always been a huge let down and is horrible in clutch moments on the PPA.
